Why the F is Andre Roberson playing game deciding possessions on offense when you have Alex Abrines and a timeout. That did not have to go 3 OT.

Also helps that they probably don't have to try all that hard in this game. I'm sure the half-time will be plenty extended to give both teams a chance to talk and regroup too.
I, for one, never really cared for Kobe, while I do appreciate his place in the game as a very popular player. I basically stopped following the game when he was drafted, and only picked up again in his aging days, so he means very little to me. |

I just gotta say: Every time I watch a game with Eastern Conference teams this year, I am pleasantly surprised -- shocked you might even say -- at the level of play I'm seeing. This is not your fathers Eastern Conference...well, I guess that depends how old you and your Dad are; let's just say this is not last year's Eastern Conference!
They're still going to get their asses kicked by the West come May, but... |

Well the Celtics have somehow won two of the dumbest finishes this year, the Pacers and now Smart being a weirdo drawing two charges on Harden.
Win's a win....even though there are a bunch of doubters, they're still up top of the east relatively comfortably... |

I love the defensive intensity of Smart - I would rather watch his great D than anyone else's offensive moves. He did get into Hardens head. |

Bostons got all sorts of problems if they're counting on miracle finishes and healthy home cooking from a short staffed ref crew to challenge the Cavs.

Man, I turned on that Celtics-Rockets game a few seconds into the 3rd quarter, saw the score and said "screw this, it's done" and changed channels to watch a movie I'd seen a dozen times before. Woke up to the news, and a lot of exuberant Facebook posts from my Boston friends.
Never doubt the C's, man... |

I get that the big goal is to win a title, but I don't think anyone expected the Celtics to contend this year in the east once Hayward went out.
So it's cool for them to be wining fun games, and there isn't really a need to be all over them with the "can't beat LeBron" **** in my opinion. I'm excited for the Cs and the Raptors to have built genuinely good teams without over compromising future potential and while growing young players too. It doesn't bother me that they can't necessarily contend with a Cavs team that has the best player in the world and is well into the tax. Relative Payrolls (2017-18) not including tax payments (Cap @ $99m, tax @ $119m) Cavs - $137m Celtics - $110m Raptors - $117m |
