For a while, Easton made a carbon post in that size with a zero setback.
My choice for a Peg would be the WR.

Pretty sure frames requiring 29.4 posts are double oversized OX Platinum. Not aware of any other tubersets that require such an odd post size, especially now. I have an IF CJ with OOS OX Plat and it's an absolute dream for a larger rider.

Pegoretti frames, including 29.4, never used TT tubesets; Dedacciai or Columbus only.

Early Respo’s take a 30.0 seatpost. Thomson makes one but a WR would be sweeter...in fact, I may order one.

Peg purists would go for the WR since it’s sized exactly and “recommmended” (naturally) by Dario.

If you do that then the rest should also be Italian proper. Campagnolo. Deda or Fixik. Etc.

Personally I’d rather shim a fizik or deda than go for the WR.

I have a full WR Compositi cockpit and and custom wheelset.

I ordered via Ciclicorsa and they are great to deal with despite being international. When you consider the asking price for italian brands made in Taiwan, I think the price is quite reasonable for WR custom parts.

Adjust nose down?

This thread is a couple of years old, but was the most relevant I saw in my search. Have a WR Compositi 29.4 post and even with the front adjustment bolt all the way shortened, the nose still tilts up significantly. Any adjustment tips for these WR posts to get the nose down? Build is a 62cm Duende. Thanks in advance.
