Tubeless newb: 2nd hand tubeless tires

Hello Forum,

I just picked up some 2nd hand (plenty of miles left) Rene Herse 38mm Steilacoom with very little residue of Stan’s sealant left.

Two questions:

1. Storage: While I’m waiting for my components to show up, is it ok to fold them with the inner side, lightly coated with seatlant to be sandwhiched together?

2. The previous owner wiped the tires down from the Stan’s sealant. If I want to run another brand, is there anything else I should do?
