Bleak but familiar scapes.

Many people don't see the appeal but I do.

Funny enough, I did!

We didn’t get to chat, unfortunately—he was working. (On his night moves.)

The snowpack isn't going anywhere.....but today it was frozen like a glacier so all you could do with it was snowshoe.
4F outside when I woke up this morning, 8F when Lexi and I headed out.
This is a new piece of state forest , and we have built a cool cycling loop that starts here and traverses roads to another state park. Perfect for gravel road bikes.

Not a National Geographic-quality shot from a mile-long descent in the Andes, but this honeymoon phase with my new bike—and a rare rainy day in SoCal—are making me realize just how “hashtag blessed” I am to be able to ride to a number of really cool spots from my own front door—at a time of the year when so many shovels are actively earning their keep.

First ride of any distance this year. Still lots of salt and running water on the roads. I was itching to ride the "new" Waterford but now wish I'd ridden one of the old bikes. Will have to do some bike washing tomorrow.

Looks like warmer temps have reached central MI. What does the "CR" add to the VaMoots?

Cr

It's just an abbreviation for Compact Road I believe. Mine is a Compact from 2009. Newer model is called the CR, these are decals from that era. Only real difference is the sloping top tube. And yes, warming a bit here in Michigan. May even hit 60 next week before the bottom falls out again!
