Is it bad/dumb/stupid looking to wear only bib shorts for a ride?

OK let me get this straight. We wear multicolored jerseys with sponsor names all over them. We wear helmets that look like they are from outer space. We wear shoes that make us walk like a duck

Now we're worried about how we look on a bike????
