Ah - good point, if it is the same spacing they must be using the narrowest (i.e. 11 speed) spacing. I see why he might not like that with his love of friction shifting.

HG cassette cogs are VERY thin. The rollers on the chain are wider than those cogs. I'll try to do a screen shot of the training video and post it.

CUES is using the Linkglide technology, which has been in the market for a couple years. Cogs are not twice as thick, closer to 33% thicker. Twice as thick would be 1/8" ~3.1 mm - which is track cog thickness.
