Yeah when I see the saddle in a photo I know it needs a slight tilt down. It is not how I would ride it. I love the bike. Makes me wonder if I actually need to try and Peg or not.

Haha you are observant and correct, it needs to be levelled out a bit. I like a very slight downward tilt but not that much. I'll add that to the list of things to do to complete the build.

We would love for you to be able to post it there also. The rules are for a reason.

The last person that skated the rules got banned.

Put it up in the gallery and talk about it.

Comment on some threads. You’re almost there.

‘79 Gios

Here’s my oldest bike … slightly updated from period (late 70s) Campy to bar routed cabling sometime in the 90s (as well as the Look pedals). Classic “corncob” Regina freewheel, as this was mostly raced in criteriums back in late 70s/early 80s.

I’ve toyed with getting it repainted back to Gios blue, but don’t think it’s really worth doing it for what the paint job would run. I rode it last fall and while fun, it underscores how much better modern bikes run/feel … braking and shifting were notably less precise (even with new cables).

The Gios with her more contemporary Campy-equipped siblings … Parlee Z1 below and Peg Marcelo and Moots Vamoots alongside. All the frames are mid-2000s birthdates. All Campy all the time!
