Burrito bag

Do you think the bag negates the watts saved from the aero bars...?

Although not particularly exciting, I picked up a Park adjustable frame pump so I can have a full-size pump to run across several different bikes. It also makes it easier to be a good Samaritan without needing to think quite as much about whether I may need to call upon all of the three C02 cartridges I usually carry.

I hope to never need this except when having to inflate tires after a flight.

I used a 60mm valve stem tube when mounting the Vittoria Rubino 23mm tires and there was barely enough room to get the pump head on the exposed portion. I then decided to use a stem nut after inflation and there was room for that, too. The good news is: This tire/rim combo are easy to mount up. I _did_ have to use one tire lever to get the last couple of inches of bead over the lip, but did not pinch the tube at all and it was in no way a struggle.

Not sure when I'm gonna get outside on these, but they sure do look and feel nice.

More info when I get some miles on 'em.

OK. So now I have about 2,000 miles on these wheels.

Only good things to say about them. Completely trouble-free (and I'm a buck 85). Definitely aero and fast on the flats and descents. Light (enough). Respond to acceleration/sprinting inputs quite nicely. Brake track works VERY well (especially in the dry). Have only ridden once in the wet and braking was 'ok' (similar to my other carbon wheels) but nothing special. I'm using the Swisstop Black Prince pads. Good modulation and no excessive wear on the brake track. Only had to re-toe them once and no squeals.

They are my every day wheels on my Fondo TI. Only very small issue I've had is that I switched to longer, non-threaded valve stems (I'm running them tubed not tube-less) and the stems rattled against the rim's valve hole. I fixed this by removing the tube/valve from the rim and making about 2 wraps of regular ol' black electrical tape around the valve stem about where it passes thru the rim's valve hole. Sort of just wedged it thru there upon re-installation and now no rattles.

I managed to pick them up for $809.00 on sale (plus a lil shipping) back around Christmas 2015.

No issues with the finish/decals and the Vittoria Rubino Pro II 23's are quite easy to mount. With the slightly wider inner rim width, I can run the pressure about 10 psi less than I do on other rims with no pinch flats.

Vittoria corsa g+ tires. Great rolling tire, but I did flat on the first ride...it was a very sharp little rock that looked like a tooth when I pulled it from the tire. Fixed the flat and hopefully it isn't a reoccurring problem. I do really like the ride.
