Is this a 2x or 3x lacing pattern?

I want to rebuild this wheelset using the same pattern. I measured spoke length from campagnolo hubs to open pro rims and got 295mm.

3x looks like

Just count how many times a spoke crosses another from the j-bend out.

lol, from this distance it's an eye test, but it's almost certainly 3x.

Thanks! I know.... i should take a pic of the wheel only; i will go w/ 3x and calculate spoke length according to new rim height.

rim height...what's that? do you mean effective rim diameter?

consider using a proper spoke length calculator instead of trying to measure spoke lengths of a still-assembled wheel like this. or de-tension/disassemble so you can measure spokes accurately.

btw...in many/most cases lengths will vary between drive and non-drive sides.

Hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like 3x.

...If you're buying new spokes by measuring the old ones, it's not 100% critical to figure out whether it's 2-, 3-, or 4- cross before starting the lacing. You'll find out halfway through the lacing process either way. And this discovery won't force you to re-lace the first half of the wheel's spokes, unless you decide that you want to change how the hub label is aligned with the rim.
(I wouldn't measure the old spokes while they're still built into a wheel, though. Disassemble the wheel, then measure.)

I plan to throw old hub and new rim on a spoke calculator along w/ the old pattern and then order spokes but I have not decided on the rims yet. I will wait till things calm down and shipping/ customs time line go back to a semblance of normality.

I have spokes, BTW, Sapim Race..$1.15 per WITH brass SecureLock nipples..

Also any other Sapim spoke they make.
