A campy question
I'm doing some serious mountains (on road bike) climbs this summer and want to modify my Campy record 10s from the current 29 to a 32. Yes, I need it, getting old. Have Compact 50x34 up front. From what I've read, I could put a 12x30 Centaur on it, without changing rear der. However, I think I have to put a long cage 2008ish 10s record rear d on to get to a 32. Can you folks confirm that. Plus, are there any 32 campy cassettes around? where do we find those.
Note; the old racer in me can't put on a triple. hehe. Thoughts? and my legs (and bum knee) thank you in advance. DB. |

IRD makes a 10's Campy compatible 12-32. Light and well made. Use Medium cage, don't need long for that with double.

Made by Campagnolo, 30t is the largest now made. |
