As someone who's been shopping for a new gravel bike for the past several months, the Thesis OB1 is impressive and tempting, but will likely move forward with something else. As mentioned, the price is great, even if you load up on the options (paint and dropper). The modifications to the generic open mold frame seem well thought out. For example, mounting provisions on the fork and provisions for a 3rd bottle cage, that similar bikes within that price range don't have (e.g. Ibis Hakka MX). For me personally, the geometry is spot on. In the end though, it's basically a "DIY kit" that includes an open mold frame (albeit modified), groupset, wheelset, bars, etc.. This isn't necessarily a bad thing if that's what you're going for.

I mean for $3000 it is going to have to be open mold.

I mean you could get a planet x frame, group and light bicylcle wheels for the same price so I get how they get to the $3000 but this well thought off ans the painted blue looks pretty nice

48mm tires + Gravel = Exceed legal limits

So much fun to be on fat tires, it should be outlawed!

That does look like fun, but 48mm = 2.0 = "wait a minute, that's a mountain bike with slicks", like the one I trained on in the 1980's before I could afford n+1.

Very nice, however.

Thanks, I call it the Heretic CL Accaio. It's a frameset manufactured to my specs from Reynolds 931 Stainless steel.

No problem to build a new one with couplers (at least in Ti), but this one has an oval top tube =0

This is another wonderful bike sir! I agree with Matt, some couplers would put this over the top!

Makes me want another coupled bike to travel with!

After a few months of waiting, I finally took delivery of my new baby last week. We've yet to take our first ride together. It weighs in at 20.4 lbs.
