Experiences with BikeInn
I've ordered components (for US delivery) from a number of online sellers, but have never dealt with BikeInn. Wondering if anyone has any experiences with them. Thank you in advance!

I recently ordered and received some chains from them. Delivery was about a month.

Yep. Ordered some Veloflex tires last November. Took 11 days to be delivered in California.

I just got a set of Vaude boots from BikeInn. 15 days from order to arrival.

If they have your item in stock (no way to know if they do just because the website says "in stock) then everything is smooth. Ordered many times and it took about 3-4 weeks for delivery.

^ Yeah, shipping is slow, and if the item isn't in stock, everything just hangs.
Place your order. Check back in 7-10 days to see if it's shipped. If not, ask customer support what's up, and if you need to cancel an item so the order ships. |

Echoing others. Ordered from them a few times, delivery time varies drastically. Had things delivered anywhere between 1-6 weeks.

Same experience as most, inventory system is not “real-time” meaning items that show in stock may not be. For items that are indeed in stock, it takes a couple of weeks to arrive. I have had to reach out to cancel items that are further delayed. Even in those instances, they have refunded the money without any issues.

Two separate orders placed in early December.
One arrived in mid-January. The other never arrived and they finally refunded me in mid-February after about half a dozen emails from me to them. Both packages were sent through what appears to be multiple carriers and both got misplaced along the way. As mentioned, one never made it. It's a shame, because they had good prices. But the delays and the poor responsiveness on their part to multiple emails from me make me hesitant to try them again. |

Delivery is a little slower than most, but their prices more than make up for the wait.

Ordered a number of things from them. Same experience as others. Everything was delivered slowly. One item went out of stock and took an email to fix - but even that went relatively smooth. It held the entire order up, but they were able to remove that one item, I replaced it with something else, they credited me correctly (as they'd already charged the original order) and I received everything as expected.
I don't order items that I am anything less than 100% sure on or the price is such that I'm willing to assume I have no warranty. |
