if you have the same bag I do, I got my straps adjusted and then doubled them back on their self and used a small zip tie to hold them there.. you can still barley adjust, if needed.. makes a big difference for me..

I have a small Ornot bar bag. I use it for bars/gels, inhaler, maybe a 2nd tube or extra tools if I'm going to be out of contact with home/car. Yes, all that would fit in a jersey pocket, but on longer rides, I prefer to keep that weight off my back (and only keep my phone/keys in the jersey).

Those cam lock buckles eventually wear out. Mine loosened up while I had my bag stuffed with an extra water bottle and maybe some other stuff going down a rocky mtn trail. I've since upgraded the straps to Voile. The Voile's are holding up much better.

This looks like a poorly designed handlebar bag made by a random company called OMNIATA that is sent straight to an Amazon warehouse from an overseas factory. Except it costs 5x the price.

After buying a lot of Silca crap I've developed the opinion that pretty much all of their stuff is over-marketed and overrated.

it's funny you say that.. after someone pointed out the Silca wax melter could be bought for like $25 on Amazon (minus the chain stand, to be fair) and now this bag that looks really generic, I do gotta wonder..

I really like the Roadrunner 1.3L Burrito. It's a similar size, has a system that secures it well, comes in many colors and is $50. Made by hand in LA by a woman named Rosa according to the site.

Run the strap around the spacer stack not the top of the stem.

I'll spend the $50 on this Post Co bag over and over.
https://postcarry.co/products/handlebar-bag

Perfect size, quality straps, great zipper, 2 side pockets with bands, plus its rigid and has a magnetic flap so you can leave the zipper open and it'll snap shut.

Did Silca get bought out by private equity or something?

Just milking the last of the brand name into the grave?

Is it just the price that has got everyone all riled up? I will admit it is way overpriced.

But the handlebar bag itself is similar to dozens already on the market that seem to be very popular. And don't get crapped on here like this one has.
