I always thought the legend was born because Koichi Nakano happened to ride Nagasawa when he dominated track sprint racing from 77-86. The Japanese love a winner and can be obsessive.

That interview with Sean Easley is great.
However, worry a bit that he's living the same lifestyle (cigarettes, booze, not much exercise) that likely shortened the time we had with Dario P. Good to hear he's still alive and kicking... although apparently not taking any orders for new frames. And obviously, this thread needs more Nagasawa bike porn...

Original paint as far as I know. The name of the person for whom it was built (not mine, shockingly ;-)) is on the top tube.

You could order custom frames through the website track supermarket last year. Not sure if they’re still available to be ordered through track supermarket

This info is 9 years old, but supposedly Koh at Samurai Cycleworks in Houston has a line to Nagasawa (source).
