OT: World Series, Game 4

Tied in the bottom of the 9th - this is what great baseball is all about.

So far the series hasn't been that exciting, but this game is a good one.

Not looking good for the Tigers.

I just want more baseball played, so I'm hoping they can extend it a bit longer.

I would love for this series to be over.
1. The giants would win.
2. The traffic before the games in SF is horrendous.

I love the Giants and am thrilled with this win. I feel terrible for the Tigers, who are a great team and deserved better than getting swept. And it's a shame that Verlander, who's a huge stud, had to watch.

A credit to the giants.. Two World Series, they got hot at the right time once again. Well done.

Let go PHillies, spring training is just 5 months away!

I was for the Giants, but what a boring dud of a World Series! Not their fault - Detroit's for not bothering to show up. But still. Last year was one of the most amazing Series ever - I guess this one made up for it.

Congrats to the Giants, but as a spectator without a strong rooting interest, this Series sucked...

A real highlight was the SF defense, remarkable!!

Good middle infielders=good defense with a plus to the 'Panda' and Belt at the corners....Panda moves pretty good for a 'BIG' guy..

kinda cool

how most if not all of the pitching reformed for the post season. Lincicum dyno out of the pen after a crap season, Baumgarner refinding the zone, and the $126 million man earning some of it. Not to mention the slip slidering man = Romo.

Hit a ball to Crawford - I dare you. Hope he can find a way to hit over 300 next year. Hope we get to keep Scutaro and he does not turn into Huff. That will be good.

That's it in a nutshell, every game my brother and I would marvel at the Giants stellar defense while watching Crawford develop into one of if not the best defensive shortstop in the game, after they signed Scutaro made them the best infield pair in the game.

that's exactly when i signed off...

just like the bottom of the first when the tigers didn't score first...
...i got this sick feeling that the sweep was on--
i went to bed
knowing the giants would score
and the put the tigers out of their misery...
i figured pablo had my vote for mvp
although the defense at short stop
and the giants starting pitching
could all make a great case for co-mvps as well.
the extra rest was just too much for the tigers to overcome...
...they started out the series already well into their off-season lumber slumber...
