1993 Serotta Catalog
These are photos of an original catalog. I will get scans when I have time. If anyone needs clarification on anything that's unreadable, just send me a PM. This was an interesting year with the introduction of the Colorado Legend Ti. It was also the only year every model in the line, with the exception of the Max tubed T-Max, was called a Colorado Legend, as they all had Colorado Concept tubesets. The CRL was available in 3 different geometries: standard, long and extra long.

The Making of a Legend.
THE BUILDING OF A GREAT BICYCLE doesn't start with the shaping of metal or the forging of steel. Building something truly great begins with a spark of passion.

The Colorado Legend Ti
Ben Serotta is a pioneer in the use of directionally-shaped and oversized tubing designed to meet the stress needs of the frame, and still maintain comfort and responsiveness. This year, the legendary Colorado Concept design is featured across our entire line.

The Colorado Legend CRL
Integral to our efforts in research and development, "Finite Element Analysis" is a highly sophisticated mathematical technique which allows us to model, test and refine new frame and tubing designs on a computer screen prior to the actual building process.

The Colorado Legend CR
After the tubing is cut and mitered to length, careful machining is performed. These processes ensure that parts fit together precisely, components install smoothly and bearing surfaces align so accurately as to enhance the durability of the frame.

The Colorado Legend TG
It takes a spark of passion to build a great bicycle. In the case of welding, it takes more than one thousand hours of training and careful supervision before a Serotta worker is permitted to put torch to frame.

The Colorado Legend ATI and Colorado Legend AT
Every edge, joint and contour of a Serotta is carefully worked by hand so that every detail meets the standards of excellence our frames are known for. It only takes a close look to realize that a Serotta has qualities no other bicycle shares.

The T-Max
Painstaking alignment checks at every step of the building process ensure that the frame is built to ride as straight and solid at 100 kph as at 30 kph. They also serve to reuce built-in stresses in the frame, and thereby enhance its logevity.
