1985 DeRosa Low Miles - $2,100 (Arroyo Grande) 54cm

1985 DeRosa Low Miles - $2,100 (Arroyo Grande)
This was built in 1984-1985. My brother was not an avid cyclist. He saw me building bikes and riding and he thought he would give it a try. This made for an interesting build as he went part Shimano and part Campy as he read that the Shimano brakes were a touch grabby and he liked Campy seat post, hubs, etc.

In any case there are less than 500 miles on the bike. Some scratches, seat is looking old, tape is funky but was very fine in 1985.

Wheels are mavic velotech, Campy hubs, 36 spoke. No tires, I pulled them off years ago and rode them!
do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers

Both have been on Pinkbike for awhile. A slight price drop here. I want to jump on the Speedvagen but it probably needs a paint refresh (look at the chain stays) and well Covid has not been great for my wallet.

Dang, he's really ridden the heck out of that Speedvagen. Good for him!

Any of the paint chips look structural to you?

That Baum is lovely. If it was $2900 with those Madfibers I’d probably have to take a chance.

Always wanted one to go with my Wicked Fat. Fortunately, for my wallet, small Slim Chances are quite rare.

Not really but if I get the chance to go Speedvagen the paint quality would be a big factor.

nice, i'd fancy a slim chance w that yo eddy fork. So clean. Love the colorways as well.

Saw this, but that touch up paint is killing it for me...Also at that price, doubt it's that much of a good deal unless one is searching for a frame w true temper?
