Favorite grip for swept back bars?

Managed to grab a Surly Open Bar from my local co-op. Hoping to use it for the Bike Friday tandem! Any suggestions regarding grips? Am debating between ESI chunkys and Ergons..

Timely post.
I just installed some Protaper 2020's last night and moved over my Wolftooth Fatpaw grips. I like the ESI Chunkies, but I love the Fatpaw. It's a slightly softer silicone rubber foam and comes as 36mm diameter.

Ergon GC1's are made for swept bars. I'm using a set on my Koga Denham bar equipped touring bike and have been impressed with their comfort.

I would agree and suggest these as well.

Running the Map/Ahearne bar on my Rex. Similar stats to the Surly Open Bar. Started with Ergon GC1, but didn't like them and went with ESI Extra Chunky.

I have both ESI and cork chops. Not on the same bike though...
