Ha ha! I am one step up. I never wore ‘dress’ clothes to work, but in Covid, I only wear Duer Jeans - the only thing I wear other than cycling gear or my boxers when hanging out drinking coffee.

They’re luxury sweatpants in my mind. When I do go to work, I cannot see my wardrobe changing. Oh well - maybe a shirt with a collar!

Going in a slightly different direction: I have been living in my Gramicci climbing pants.

Same direction for me, been climbing in prAna Zions for years and wear them even when not climbing. Can’t see spending more than $20 on sweat pants, Amazon basics for me, long enough for my 35” inseam.

Costco. They usually carry decent sweatpants.

I used to live in mine as well, but after going stretch, I have never gone back.

Hmmm, if sweatpants are now in because they are comfy, those 80's puffy pants probably aren't far behind. Comfortable with no chaffing, and lots of room to move and air the bits. Plus those high-vis colors will keep you safer on the street. Sounds like a win-win!

This is a fitting thread. As others have noted, I am working from home now due to COVID, so wear sweatpants about everyday. I above a closet full of business clothes and rarely wear them. My wife recommended wearing my business clothes at the house for work to see if improves productivity, but didn’t make a difference.

I was at the store yesterday and wondered over the sweatpants and robes saying to myself this would be nice to wear for work. Thanks for all of the sweatpant recommendations.

Someone near the top of this thread mentioned running pants. I used to run quite a bit before switching gradually over to only cycling over 20+ years ago. Working from home caused me to dig out my old favorite running pants and amazingly, they are still being made. Mine are ancient but in great shape but here's a link to the current version:

https://www.sporthill.com/original-r...-stirrup-pant/

(BTW, these were popular with many of people in my old running club but I don't know that anyone ever kept the stirrups under their feet. Some cut them out but most just pushed them behind the ankle)

I have been eying, Myles Apparel, they have a weekend jogger that looks nice. They have storm cotton, whatever that means.

I just have a hard time justifying nearly $100 for sweatpants.

Just a little update. Got a pair of these from Uniqlo and have been living in them when home. Warm, stretchy, and more substantial than my lulu at a fraction of the cost.

That is all.
