I like the one with the bear riding the bike, it reminds me of the circus. Thanks!

Check out Kleen Kanteen. They make exactly what you are looking for, they have their own cage for the bottle.

I like either the camelbak podium (local shop or Rapha branded) as well as the specialized purist with the top end 'watergate" lid/valve.

I suppose those are also the easiest choices since easily found or ordered.

On odd thing on my end - I leave the bottle lid "unlocked" or the valve "open". Our roads are smooth, I've never had a bottle burp contents while riding or when I am pulling the bottle from the cage.

Since my current bikes are metal I use King Iris or ti cages. Once I get a carbon frame I'll go back to carbon cages.

have Camelbak Podiums (can't stand ambient temp water on warm days).

fwiw, found an easy way to remove the black marks on bottles from cages...

have tried numerous cleaning products (windex, dish soap, etc.) and none took them off very quickly...

was shining up the frame recently and got a little Pledge overspray on a bottle...when I wiped it off, noticed the marks were gone. easy peezy...

Picked up a pair...like them so far. Decided on the larger version, glad I did as they are 22 so a bit smaller than normal large bottles. BTW...email them they may still have a coupon code.

Reviving this one...

I love my King cages (ti as well as ss), and I also like CamelBack Podium bottles. I've tried the CB insulated bottles, and found that when it's hot they don't really keep the water cold, and they sweat like crazy, so if you're riding dirt and gravel, or single track, you end up with wet dirty dripping bottles without the benefit of the nice cold water.

Anyway, someone gave me a Kleen Kanteen insulated bottle, and I am amazed at how long it keeps iced water cold in the heat, with NO sweating on the outside of the bottle.

Poking around their website I see that their water bottle cage has some kind of vinyl coating, is made by Two Fish, and is currently on sale.

Now I hate to give up what I like, especially a King cage, but wondering if anyone is using this on the bike?

Any info would be helpful...
