Our first big ride of the year. Totally underestimated the heat, but we finished it!

You Californian's are killing me. I shoveled my driveway today. You rode in paradise. #hatewinter.

i used to live right over the other side in great barrington, and desperately miss the riding in the berkshire/hudson valley/catskill area.
Absolutely DESPERATELY.
and barely got to explore the dirt options in the area.
from your pictures in the "gravel bike inspiration" post, it looks like it was quite abundant.

might be moving back to that area sometime soon to be closer to family.
could i contact you for your library of routes?

Yikes! At least there's no blood on the end of that.

Sucks for sure. Assuming you're OK? Didn't mention otherwise.

I'd count only 3 miles in as a good thing. Shorter walk or one legged workout. At least the back of the spindle has hex key removal. Could've shoved a stick through and carried on.

Scraped and bruised, but yes, I'm ok.

Lol! Thankfully one of our group lives nearby and rode home to sag me in. He said he put off chores to go riding and that this was a sign to him to stay home and take care of them.

Ouch, glad your injuries are minor. Which pedals are those?

I did a double on Tam today. I caught the sunrise and then rode through Laurel Dell and back down to Mill Valley and up to the top again and down. All the while wearing matchy matchy gloves.
