His Philadelphia crowd heckling is still some of the 10 best minutes of comedy ever.
But this is also kinda his schtick. |

Duuuuuuuude this is NSFW by any stretch of the imagination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be careful of the click to open. Best to do so at home. Never heard of this guy before. He's a comedian? Oh and may karma pay him a visit someday. Last edited by 54ny77; 11-20-2017 at 03:38 PM. |

I like Bill, this is funny. He just wants us to move over and thinks our outfits are dumb. I can handle that.

Nah, this is funny. Bill Burr is hilarious. And the majority of people on bikes (I'm specifically not saying "cyclists") in metro areas are absolute dipshyts just like he's saying. It's hard to be irate about a driver not knowing we can legally ride in the middle of the lane when Freddie Fixedgear doesn't know that he legally can't be selective about which stop signs/lights he obeys. And that it's not legal to ride between cars when it's a shared lane (as opposed to a bike lane on the side).

That's funny stuff. If you can't take a little ribbing about who you are, in whatever context, then you shouldn't watch comedians. He was clearly being hyperbolic while making some valid points too.

i had no idea who he was and thought he was just some dude in a car ranting & raving like a lunatic a-hole, similar to that tool on the webcast (barstool sports) who advocated running down cyclists just for fun.
now i see that his schtick is caustic, i get it. doesn't mean i agree with it and in fact i find it (the cyclist rant) stupid, but hey, it's america. freedom to say what ya want and freedom to ignore it. |

If you really want something NSFW then check out his rant in Philadelphia. It's outrageous and hilarious at the same time. A comedian and hecklers going full bore at each other.

I agree with this. Prob one of the funniest things I've ever heard. First time I've heard that I was dying. Philly is a tough crowd and he just shot one across them...

I agree with him, kind of. Bicyclists should avoid taking the lane. Also I used to listen to his podcast and he does have a lot of respect for cyclists, fitness-wise and courage-wise. He's mentioned it many times. He has a whole Armstrong steroids riff that I found kind of annoying.
I think the problem with the I-hate-cyclists-when-I'm-driving-a-car riff is that it's always the same. It may be more or less tasteless, like the Barstool kid's, but it's so unoriginal. Your shorts are tight, I'm trying to get to Home Depot, why are dressed like you're running an Olympic time trial, etc., etc. I think the problem is, the comedians say never to punch down, and a guy driving a SUV and complaining about a cyclist is definitely punching down, and it's really not that funny (even setting aside the ethics of it). |
