I love merino jerseys and they are about all that I ride in these days. The Woolistic ones (Vintage Velos) are very nice IMO for off the rack. They do a lot of different designs so if you don't see something you like keep checking back, the stock changes a lot.
The gold standard for me is Cima Coppi. Lawrence, the owner, is a forum member. They will do custom mods to their standard jerseys...both size and color....for not much more money than anyone else's off the rack. And if you want full custom they will do that as well. They made this one for me last year, it was the very first one that they made with front pockets and a collar.

I haven't tried the superlight, that one is the medium weight. I don't find that it is too heavy unless it is really hot.

I've been waiting for a long time for Rapha's Pro Team Shorts in Long to go on sale. Unfortunately, they never seem to have them in XL.
Any thoughts on Isadore's sizing and bibs (climbers, regular?) to try? I'm looking for an all-rounder, similar to the Rapha's. Psyched to hear a new (to me) Rapha alternative! |

I can't speak to the bibs. But I have several jerseys, vests etc. by Isadore. The two things I really like about them: A) They look really good off the bike. Maybe even better than while cycling. B) I like the cut of their clothes. The XXL in their merino stuff fits my shoulders without swimming in the waist. I like Rapha's stuff (and their customer service is outstanding) but fit can be problematic for me. |

Thanks - I agree with the Rapha fit. I'm 6'2" and 185 and their XL bibs fit perfectly. Their brevet jerseys fit well but I haven't been able to find other jerseys of theirs that fit perfectly. They are typically too tight in the shoulders and too bunchy around the waist. Thanks for the input!

Not a high-end option by price, but I've been really impressed with my Torm merino jerseys. Simple, classy looks, a pretty good fit if you get the right size, and straight up cheap. Don't be fooled by the cheap website, these things are pretty solid- I have a couple that are probably five seasons old and still look great.
Edit: Or, if you wanted to spend big bucks and tell us how it goes, I've been coveting MAAD jerseys http://maaddyes.com/shop/. |

Plus 1000. Cima Coppi. Easily amongst the best Merino jerseys I’ve ever had. Great fit, well made. Can’t say enough good things about them. Really like their light weight Merino model.
I’m going to check out isadore too though! |

Any tips on fit comparison to other more known brands?
