SOLD Spooky Skeletor large with extended HT

Sold 7/19

Hello Paceline!
I bought this from mattsbeers this summer (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showth...pooky+skeletor), built it up, rode it, loved it, but my riding now consists of commuting exclusively and will for the forseeable future, so here it is for sale. Here are his pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/649598...7645042542649/
I would say it's in the same exact shape. There are a FEW (just a few, really a clean frame) paint nicks here and there. There is a very small, fingernail size indentation about 1mm deep on the downtube--it was covered up with a sticker, and when cleaning the sticker came off and I felt it. I had my shop look at it and they laughed at me for asking if it was structural. This is an awesome bike. It is stiff, fast, light and unique.

My pictures are here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/882673...h/16042083512/
(I'm sorry the pictures are so dark--if anyone wants specific shots, just let me know.)

I'm asking $1,100 now $1,080, now $1,000, NOW $875 SOLD for the bike without wheels and pedals/saddle. Not looking to break it up.

It comes with:
Full Ultegra 11 speed/6800 group
175 compact cranks (50/34)
11-25 cassette (also have an 11/28 6800 if desired instead)
6800 chain (brand new, 0 miles)
Shifters, brakes, F/R derailleurs, BB
FSA headset
3t seatpost with setback (also have a straight Thompson if preferred)
3t stem (120/-6) and 42 3t bars
3t fork that came from Matt with frame, rides AWESOME.
Groupset has about 1,500-2,000 miles on it.

No pedals, saddle, or wheels. Shipping, packing from a bike shop, and Paypal fee is on you- happy alternatively to do Square, check, or local pickup would be great.

I transferred this groupset over from my Ridley which I crashed on, twice. Both times I slipped out in the rain and took the brunt, but there are scratches on both shifter plates and rear derailleur. But it works perfectly!

I just got this back from my shop, where they cleaned everything to perfection and put on a new chain, so it will feel like a new bike for the owner.

I'll take some measurements tonight for interested parties, but my saddle height is about 78.5cm from center BB to top of the Aliante on all my bikes so I assume this is the same. I will measure reach and drop tonight.

Thanks all! I'm located in Mill Valley, CA but work downtown SF near BART and could arrange for pickup there if desired.

This thing is really awesome. I should have bought it when I first had the chance we have the same saddle height and everything, if my Caad10 frame sold already and this was frame only I would probably have a hard time telling myself no! Good luck!

Sorry, missed this. Not looking for any trades right now. I will get measurements posted tomorrow at the latest for those asking (drop, reach, setback).

This Skeletor frameset+ just sold for $610!

I'll do mine for $1,080 + shipping, you cover PayPal fee or send check/Square. Everything but the wheels, and if you want those, we can work something out.

Some measurements (I will re-confirm or take additional measurements for anyone who needs):

Seat height to top of Aliante: ~787mm
Drop (top saddle to top bars at stem clamp): 96mm
Saddle tip to middle of bars at stem clamp: 595mm
~80mm setback from tip saddle to center of BB

Thanks all.

Are the wheels Eurus? Would you want to sell them separately?

I would be open. They're Shamals, 2-Way with IRC Roadlite red label 23s mounted. Brand new rear, front has about 500 miles and tons of life left.

Rear rim has a few issues but I've ridden as is for over 5,000miles with no issues: low PSI (like 60) pinch flat caused small dent, so there's a bit of pulsing with rear brake, but still works as a brake should. Then somehow I got a tack through the rim, leaving a small hole. My LBS wraps rim with gorilla tape and it works perfectly tubeless. No play in either front or rear, shop just fixed a bit in rear.

I would like to keep wheels and tires as package, I'm thinking $500 net after fees and shipping. This includes the tires that retail for $90+ each. The (11s) freehub body was replaced fewer than 300 miles ago, I think I also have a slightly more used Campy around too if you'd prefer.

Initially I wasn't going to sell but was just given a set of wheels I'm going to use. The rear rim sounds bad, I know, but if I hadn't just gotten new wheels I'd keep riding these forever. But the issues are hopefully reflected in the price.

PM me if interested still! Thanks.

Back to the top. How about $1,000 net to me, no pedals, wheels, or saddle.

Just had a tune, working perfectly.

An awesome bike but I have many more and have been riding a lot more MTB recently.

I took some more photos but am having trouble uploading tonight. Email me and I can send or text.

Ridden a few weeks since my last bump. $930 now! No wheels, saddle or pedals. Here are some recent pictures. That silver indentation on the downtube I am highlighting as the only issue I can see, although it truly does not seem to affect anything and is very, very shallow--maybe 1mm when you rub your finger over it. Some scratches on the shifters and derailleur from going down (while on a different bike, a Ridley, have never crashed this Spooky), but the stuff functions perfectly as 6800 should.

Here are the flickr pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/214646...57655245964386

I would prefer to do local pickup, but my LBS (Tam Bikes) will pack this for $75 (maybe less, as there are no wheels, I can find out). I don't trust myself to do it well enough to protect the bike. Bike flights is a good cheap shipping option as well. I can take PayPal, check, venmo, square, or cash in person. Thanks!

With what length stem? Sounds like it'll be too long for me, but if you don't ask...

Hey Rich, it's a 120/-6. Happy to take any measurements you'd like!

Let's do $900. Happy 4th all.
