One can order any paint scheme on any frame.

I was on board with this up to the carbon fiber saddle. Ouch, that's all I got for that.

But regarding Round vs. Responsorium and weight question, I have a big Responsorium and weigh 180 and it rocks. You probably would've been fine with that model. But since you're coming from a MxxxxxO, you'll probably love the Round.

I'd never ridden a stainless steel frame before, and have quickly become a believer. It's good stuff.

PS. what shop is shipping the frame to you? BiKyle?

I hear ya. There definetly were some bits I would have not purchased if I went seperatley. But I had to take the whole package and for what I paid.... Yea I couldn't pass it up.

My buddy E over at EliteVelo Solutions has me set with a nice red Berk saddle if the carbon one doesn't work out. Eric is the man! But more on that later....

Frameset was purchased from a private collector.

That's a beautiful packing job except the lack of the dropout spacer. Should be fine given how sturdy the box looks and how much padding I imagine the seller is using inside the box.

Looks good to me, but I'm not crazy about the fork being taped to the side of the frame, though. Would've packed it on top of the top tube and kept the whole thing a little narrower, with more space in the box on the sides of the frame.

Fingers crossed for a safe journey!

All voids are being filled with foam. Rear triangle, front triangle. He has bought, sold shipped close to 200 frames and completes.

Funny little story the person whom I purchased this frameset from had a Colnago Futura. He sold the frameset to Ernesto's nephew which in turn gifted it to Ernesto for his 80th birthday. I found that really neat.

Sale price of said frame was $15k. Funds from that sale went to purchase the Round.

That Futura Masterlight has always been such a cool bike. (Way better than the Futura BMW M2!)
