Help! Any tips on freeing Tarmac seatpost binder wedge clamp?
So the wedge clamp on my Tarmac SL6 fell into the seat tube when I removed the post and is now stuck somewhere down towards the Di2 cabling. Ugh.
I have tried hanging it upside down and trying to fish it out with a coat hanger but that hasn’t helped. Any advice? Please. |

I don't know anything about the clamp you're talking about so I apologize if I'm asking a basic question.
Is the wedge threaded like an old school handle bar stem? If it is you may have luck in buying a long piece of threaded rod and try to screw the rod into the wedge. Just a thought. |

If it’s stuck in the rats nest of Di2, you may need to pull the crank and BB depending on the build kit.

Is it for sure in there? Can you see it with a flashlight/phone?
If you are certain it is lodged, try a shop-vac while jostling the frame upside down. I wouldn't poke around the wiring too much. Remove BB if nothing else works. |

if you can't budge by it pulling with a coat hanger try "pushing" it from the opposite side

Turn it upside down and jiggle it. Short of that pull the crank. If you installed the center dust shield you might have to pull The bearings
