They are pretty light for an aluminum bar and the shape looks good.
I could not find the Vibe bars anywhere except from an Ebay seller in Taiwan.
They have a a somewhat flatter and wider top.
I've ordered Shimano/Giant parts from Taiwan when unavailable in the U.S. They normally turn up in a matter of days.

I am a 40cm Service Course 70 Ergo user and they're my favorite bars of all time. Cheap, widely available, and don't have the ugly logo of the SL-70. And retail at $59, not $119... 35 grams heavier.

I've gone back and forth for the years and honestly can't say one way or the other if I think wider or narrower works better for me. I think I've probably tried all the sizes from 40-46cm.

Very hard to tell.

FSA SL-K Carbon compact 38cm measure 360mm at the tops. It's not aero, but slightly ovalized at the top.

I think I tried those many years ago and there was something about the shape that I did not like. Otherwise would be a good option.

I actually just switched from 42cm zipp sl70 ergo bars to the 38cm pro pursuit bars... the increase in reach was easy to get used to, nice for pretending i'm like remco as i get dropped on the local sunday ride, they're also really stiff which is my preference

weight wasn't much of an issue for my crit build, but it seems they're only available from random EU sites, had to wait 3 weeks for them to show up from Italy (maybe they're discontinued or something?)

I bought the Ritchey Comp Streem as a cheap way of testing 38's as they matched the reach, drop and flare I was looking for. I like the 38's but I'm having a hard time justifying an upgrade. You have to spend a lot of money to get something appreciably different.

Farsports F1, F1s and F1x are available in 36 and up. I have a F1 and it is a good bar, not twisty and light enough

Like RiceRocket ride many narrow handlebars however the 36mm PRO PLT Ergo Carbon Handlebars are the most comfortable, nicest constructed, performance handlebars I ride. Unlike RiceRocket I must have bent forearms as I have no issues with forearm contact in the drops. No interested in flared bars in the drops as these would defeat the aero intent of a narrow bar.

I am wondering can you measure the width of the flat part at the top bend?
It looks really wide and not sure it would fit my small hands.

They are 4.0cm, plus or minus 2mm in the 36cm width size, difficult to get an exact measurement with bar tape on.

Thanks much appreciated.
Do you wrap your hand around that part or just rest it on top?

You don't grip it, you rest the heel of your hand/palms on it. The flatter/increased surface area works well for comfort.

It's just normal behavior- as a trend peaks, enough look around for a different way to skin the cat and often times the opposite rides in popularity.
After a bit, things then largely settle.

That's my take on it too, though a lot of the wide bar stuff came about in the early 2000s, I seem to recall that Lance Armstrong was all about some 44mm bars to "open the chest".

I have 70 year old short stubby finger Italian brick laying hands and I do both grip and rest my fore arms on the tops. 3T Scatos are much wider than the 4.0cm PRO PLT Ergo and I also griped the top of those in the past.

Thanks good to know.
I think I am going with these.
