Guys wish you guys where up here to see the Tour of California. You are correct the climb is one to remember. Especially with this weather pattern we are having now.

We got there early and it was about 30F. Later we saw people coming up to the Baldy Village sweating! like dripping sweat... The road up to the mountain was one temperature and on the village it was completely different. This area may be the closest thing to the famed Dolomites of Italy. Do you agree?

The ride to do here is start at HWY 39 or Glendora Mountain Road and climb over to San Gabriel Mountains to Baldy village. Thats about 4700ft and about 25miles. The baldy village is a great staging area for the final effort. Get some water and take a quick break for the final accent to the ski lifts about 4 miles up for another 1200ft.

I will post some images of this past Saturday. It was an Incredibly amazing weekend! So much fun!

Had to share this one with you. Check out that Logo in the sun. We started using an iridescent logo application on our jerseys that are super subtle until you see it in the sun. Think it looks pretty cool right!

Day one of SDSR race on Glendora Mountain Road. Rode up a bit and had a chance to film the race from above. Thanks for the help Ray Marz, for providing additional footage and a great edit. Thanks to Melodysheep who is creating some amazing films such "Timelapse of the universe" as well as allowing me to use this dramatic soundtrack.

Take a peek

Looking to pick up a pair of the R66 socks, but wanted to confirm a couple of things:

1. What's the sock height?
2. I wear ~8.5US and ~42EU shoes. Should I stick with the M-S size?

Thanks

Sure,

1. The cuff height is 6in on the large and 5in on the sm-medium.
2. I would order the Large_XL range. Have had good luck with the large with various people. I think it would also depend on your height. You can email me with further questions.

Would like to add weight; 21g with high quality knitted elastilane yarn and polyester fabrics. It goes right on your foot and wicks really well.

Hope this helps.

New!

Ok so, i have been working on these for a while now. I feel that after testing we got the right combo of fibers and weight vs wicking and lightness knitted up in this beautiful sock.

The elasticity is amazing making these a pleasure to slip on! Its like cycling pantyhose...

I measured these at 21g and I mention this not for the weight savings but because it gives you an idea of the knitted fabric density. Almost like thread counts on fine linen.

The elasticity again is high, the wicking is great and the density is just right!

They come in black and white with the CA logo visible but otherwise clean looking.

these will be available soon on www.catella.cc Paceline discount until Aug10 "paceline15" for 15% discount at checkout.

check this out!
