Build Advice/Help

So here goes I am looking for everyone's input. I been a Road guy for 20 plus years and am thinking of getting a Semi off road commuter bike.

A Gunnar Hyper-X. with a whiskey carbon fork, chris king head set. the guy at the shop said I can use a campy group that I already have and use a set of mechanical disk brakes? If so that saves some money. all this info I understand. but the fork is a 12mm thru axle? with a rear quick release. so how hard is it going to be to get a decent set of wheels for this bike? and I plan on running 700x32 with fenders. so maybe the Clements or schwalbe's?

Thank you in advance

csi pal, if you are going to use it for commuting and by semi-offroad, you mean relatively smooth gravel - then I recommend Panaracer Pasela 35mm. If you plan to go tubeless, then Schwalbe.

Quite easy..contact me or ERGOTT and we can design and build ya a set or a variety of 'wheelsouttaboxes' also..Campagnolo or Fulcrum wheels..

NOT really a 'QR', Quick Release but a 12mm axle that goes thru the hub and secures to the fork. The picture below compared to a standard 'QR'

i can highly recommend the gravel king slick tires in 32c. they are super smooth riding tires. 95% as good as the compass offerings at 1/3 the price.
