CanWish you a fast recovery. I must confess to a similar bad decision about 15 yrs back. I was checking out a pace line going the opposite direction, trying to spot some I might know, I crashed into the road curb from the last spot in the pace line. At least I was at the back. Still an embarrassent.

As someone who is still a year later dealing with the effects of my TBI, don't rush anything. Listen to the doctors. Rest, rest, rest. That means no phone, no TV, no music, just quiet and dark.

Please don't hesitate to reach out now or whenever if you have any issues, or just want to talk about what you're going through. Too many of us have been there, and **** I'm just passing 13 months and I'm still not the same...

Ooof. Listen to Colnago and others. Take your time. Think like you're investing and resting now so you can spend the fun bucks later.

Wishing you a speedy recovery but as Colnago says, don't rush it.

Thanks all. I'm home now but I'm back in for surgery early Monday. The toll so far is: subdural hematoma, with double vision, broken wrist, broken elbow, a broken navicular bone in my ankle that will need reconstruction. I haven't looked at my brand new Ridley yet so please give me some time to answer your PMs about Spyre brakes.
Yay helmets.

Sorry to hear about your fall, glad it's not worse, and glad you are back home.

Heal fast, brother.
