Has the fork been repainted? Guessing not. Serotta usually painted the fork to go with the frame but they were selling some natural Ti frames by 1998. So your frame might have been painted black or perhaps was not painted at all.

The forks have a clear coat, no paint there. This suggests the frame had a brushed finish.

Did you have a look through the linked thread to see if anyone posted a serial number that was close?

Another option is to search the classifieds for Legends. You might come across a near serial number there.

I will follow your advise regarding classifieds. The closer the sn, the closer the date. I could not find a proper sn in the link.

After 20+ years with my beloved Lemond Zurich, I finally got my dream bike, Serotta Concours ti. Serial# CT 54 156

Does that mean it was 156th Concours Ti built? Safe to assume it was made 1999?

It's in great condition. Paint and decals are almost flawless. Did a 30 mile ride on it and already love it.

Yes 156th Concours built. Might be 1999 or 2000. Mine is number 539 and I was told it was built in 2002. If it was the first Concours built in 2002, that means they averaged about 180 frames a year. If it was the last built, that brings the per year average down to about 135.
