Garmin help, please
I just bought a 530 for the girlfriend, and I'm trying to figure out how to do that hack I did on my 810 that enables one to write "If you find this, contact me at this email and phone number" and this message appears during startup. It's been a while, I totally forgot how to do it or save the link. It appeared on that fellow's blog/website who reviewed Garmin devices for bikes. Forget his name, too.

Sharpie and a piece of tape on the backside?
By the way, there's a similar recommendation for kayaks and canoes. Post this decal on your kayak and if it's found floating, someone can determine that it simply got loose and the coast guard does not have to be deployed... You can get them from your local harbor master at no charge. They typically stack them on the welcome desk, and are more than happy for you to take a few. Just make sure that you use them! http://wow.uscgaux.info/content.php?...n-paddle-smart
