Go to your lds ( local drug store ) and buy small reusable ice packs...sit on them...

Taking an over-the-counter NSAID - nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory - would help knock down the inflammation also. I prefer naproxen (Aleve) or ibuprofen (Motrin) over acetaminophen (Tylenol) or aspirin.

Of course, the usual disclaimers: don't take if you have any bleeding disorder because NSAIDs can exacerbate these disorders. If you have any liver or kidney issues, be very careful with Tylenol. Ask your doctor or pharmacist, your mileage may vary, objects are closer than they appear in the mirror, etc.

Currently suffering from this. I've got an appointment with my primary next week but looking for some added information.

UM6970, did you have to adjust your saddle or saddle height to help the situation?

Thanks!

Wow 5 years back....

I dont have the problem anymore and I got another issue aswell... getting old

Had to revisit my saddle height and actually had to start getting smaller frames, the other thing it helped was to swap saddles. Actually wen down almost 1 cm... plus a more cushy saddle and that took care of the problem.

I do not feel the problem anymore.

I appreciate the response. Getting older as well, so looking to do as much research as I can.

I did think about lower my saddle slightly or maybe even changing saddles. I've also reached out to my fitter.
