Funny stuff but I grow tired of the comment that Lance raised $500 million for cancer research. That if flatly wrong. The majority of the money went to raising cancer awareness and helping cancer patients negotiate the maze of treatment options. That is not nothing but it does little to help eradicate the disease. And, all those years, he just let that impression build as it was much better for the brand. Ok, enough of this...back to politics!

I'd never heard of Bill Burr before but he seems like a funny guy. I would disagree with his one statement though when he said that [lance] hasn't hurt anybody.

Love that video - hadn't seen that in years.

Bill Burr was on last night's episode of The Mandelorian too.

You need to look him up, he is usually comedy gold. Try the "Motherhood isn't the hardest job in the world", on that one he is biblical.

Warning, though. Hardly PC, and the F word is generously used. Think Boston Irish guy ranting at the end of the bar. With wit and humor.

I just watched his video last night. My wife and I watched most of his 1 hour special posted on you tube. He is hilarious but I think Mr. Pink sums it up pretty well. We were both kind of uncomfortable at times with some his lines (a bit bigoted)but we couldn’t stop laughing.

I don't recall any of his jokes being bigoted (except the bit when he's quoting his 90 year old grandmother).

I've seen him perform recently and his entire set was railing against "PC culture" and how "lame" it is that comics can't "push boundaries" anymore. All of this to no laughs in a room of 100 people. It's like he forgot his job was to be funny.

Really sad, dude was a legend but is stuck in another time and refuses to grow, sticking his post firmly to an aging audience willing to put up with rants about how treating other people with respect is ruining the world.

We felt his comments on obese people sounded bigoted. That was our interpretation at the time.

100 people?
Small venue. When I saw him a few years ago it was at a 10,000 capacity arena. Everyone in my section was laughing. Great show, but his humor is not for everyone, I guess

Not sure bigotry covers obesity.
