Ekoi helmets

Anyone have any experience with Ekoi helmets? They are currently on sale. I like the looks of the AR14.

I've always wanted the EKOI Legende helmet. Looks like there's so much ventilation. I'm going to order one of the sale helmets to replace my old Catlike Whisper.

I have the Ekoi Legende helmet. Took a slight beating on the shipping but they seem to have pretty consistent free shipping over a certain price point. Highly recommend..very comfortable, good ventilation in the summer, fits nicely with a cap or layer underneath during colder months. I like the lower profile look and nod to the traditional hairnet style helmets. As an aside, I had to return a jacket due to sizing and their customer service was excellent.

Ok thank you, I had a Ekoi Helmet back in 2012 and frankly it was junk, but it looks like they have really upped their game so I might give them another shot.

I think the only thing you can reliably conclude from this is that Ekoi pays the team to use them.

I saw them in bike shops when I lived in Sweden, seemed like nice helmets but I bought something cheaper on sale at the time. The high end helmets were light and looked well made, and were not cheap.

I always thought Romain Bardet’s Legende was a sharp looking Helmet. FWIW, he did suffer a concussion while wearing one at last year’s TDF. Of course, it’s impossible to say if another helmet would have protected him better.

I’m on my second AR13 helmet from Ekoi. They’re great—lightweight, good ventilation, good fit. The only hang up I have with them is that often the replacement padding is not in stock. This would not be an issue if the padding wasn’t shaped so differently from other helmets that I’ve used. Shipping to the US is the majority of the cost, but still more affordable than other lids. Been wanting to try the Legende.

I received my Ekoi Helmet and Glasses.
This helmet is super light!
The glasses are slick too and the leather box they come in is a nice touch.
I still want the Legende Helmet with all of its ventilation.

Weather apps say 60's and cloudy all day. Rain mid week. Lot of rain looking clouds hanging around the base of the mountains and outside of my window.

Living close to the Rose Bowl hills is a blessing. So many nice sustained climbs within 15min of my front door. Loop them all together for a quick 4,000ft of climbing.
