Are there any 26.0mm flared bars?

I have grown used to using my Easton EA70 ax gravel bar and now when I use my Soma Hwy One bar, my hand position just feels wrong.

Are there any 26.0mm clamp bars out there that have the same nice shape as my Easton AX bar? It doesn’t need to be exactly that shape, but flared is the key - 12deg or so.

This is for my commuter (what commute?) / winter road bike, so simple and sturdy is preferred.

The old Salsa Moto Ace Bell Lap had a 12 degree flare... but also hideous ergo bends.

Nitto has a few bars with slight flare but I don't think any are that extreme short of a full on dirt drop.

Yes, I had those Salsas and they are just horribly curved. Can’t do it. Maybe Nitto, but there doesn’t seem to be anything in between...

I went a little insane on a similar bar/stem quest... and looks like the best way to get modern bar features, if stuck with quill is to pony up for the stem... either an ahead with spacers for 1" and live with it or a 1" quill with 31.8 clamp. There are now more of these now than there used to be!

Crust and RivBike and VO all now have some quill to 31.8 options. Of course there is also the quill to threadless adapter , or just plane old different stem if running totally threadless already...

Yes, easily solved by switching to a new stem. I have a litespeed stem that just looks cool on my ol ti frame, so I am stuck on a ti stem. Easy enough to buy a 110mm OS ti stem but I am cheap and would like to keep using this one rather than $250 on a used Moots or similar.

Anyone wanna trade my vintage Litespeed stem for your Moots ??

Technically randonneur (Nitto B132, B135, RH, VO) and Maes bend (RH, VO Course) bars have flare, but perhaps not to the degree you're after.

Yes, I know there's alt, and then there's *ALT* bars. I actually just want a plain ol bar that has a nice comfy flare (like 10-16deg) - I don't want any 30deg flare or sweeps etc.

This might be a no go?

Ti stem switch?!?!

I've got a pair of these 3T Morphe bars--they have a slight bend back on the tops, but take a look at the pics on this eBay ad. It's kind of hard to see if there is any flare out on the bottoms -- but I should be able to dig my pair out and check.

(I was saving my pair for an eventual light touring build...)

How flared? Nitto make some.

I have a pair of the 13's sitting here collecting dust with a stem, if you're interested.

They have a very subtle flare, but I have (and love) the Sim Works So Bar, which has a 26.0mm clamp area.

Yes, I like simworks stuff, but I do t think that is substantially different from my Soma bar with just a 4deg flare .

It’s wide too!!

Short answer from me is "not that I've found":
https://www.bikeforums.net/cyclocros...avel-bars.html

The Crust bars are probably your best bet. Check their sizing carefully though, I think they measure at the drops.
