Ah, I forgot that this forum doesn't auto-scale.

Don't need a gravel bike there.

I took my CAAD10 on 25mm tires through there a couple times during the summer.

Outside of the bird brained bird watchers its normally not so bad.

It's a drop-bar conversion of a 1984 Stumpjumper.

I've set it up with more or less a road bike fit.
Gearing is a 48-38-24 crankset paired with an 11-13-15-18-21-24-28 cassette.
Brakes are Deore T610 v-brakes, paired with Cane Creek Drop-V linear-pull levers.
The pictured tires are Rat Trap Pass ELs, measuring about 53mm.

I love this bike - looks like a blast. This reminds me of what I'd have liked to cruise the neighborhood on with a group of a few friends in the mid 90's...

Ellis Rando and Donuts

There was a lot of gravel and country dirt roads before I got to the donuts.

Got this Ross Signature (Ishiwata EX tubing) late in the summer from Adrewlcox. I was a bit surprised to find how much room it has for tires - so what was going to be a pavement bike morphed into an all-surfaces bike. About as mixed up of a build as you could hope for: Campagnolo crank, BB, and FD; SunTour GPX shifters and XC Sport RD; Shimano brakes and rear hub with SRAM 8 speed 11-32 cassette; Maillard front hub; rims from two companies I can't recall; Kenda 35 mm tires (32 actual); SR bar; Kalloy post.

Was up in the 40s here today. I had a 30 mile route planned but got a late start, then found the gravel roads very soft which really sapped my energy. I cut the ride a bit short but it's still nice to get out for 25 miles this close to the shortest day of the year.

Racing Triple crank from bicycletricycle. Cages, pedals, computer, and seat bag from Llewellyn. Thanks Andy, Ryan, and Carl.

I really like this type of bike. Only complaints about the frame are lack of pump peg and rear rack bosses. I'd like to build it with components from a single manufacturer, but the stuff that's on it works, so... on to the next project.
