Campagnolo Record Pista BB...

Hi all,

Is the 111mm Record Pista BB simply the old square-tappered road version of the Record BB but with a longer spindle? Wonder if it sealed and can be used outdoors.

It's 111mm but doesn't have seals on the Pista BB

While the Pista BB does not have seals, the cups have "threads" which prevent ingress of most debris and water. As the spindle rotates, the threads create what amounts to an outward movement of anything between the cup and spindle.

Think he’s thinking about the triple cartridge bearing BB which is a 111mm version of the 102mm bb without the inside the cups, crud seals. The cup and ball(SPc) is the same as road(the ‘P’ refers to pista)...

You can also swap the axles between your pista and the record road version if you have a gearing/q-factor need.

Isn't the modern Centaur bb centered and the old Record C offset? (I may be confused about this.)

No, both symmetrical.
