OT: Nordic Skating this weekend
Amazing ice here in Maine this weekend. Skated up the Winnegance River about 3 miles than back...then did it again it was so amazing!

Being stuck here in the land of perpetual 40F from now to March I am so envious of your skate. The audio is just as I imagine..., perfection!

I would maybe make it 2 feet B4 I was on my butt. Looks like fun, typical shallow rocky river?

It's more of a slow moving creek that feeds the Kennebec river close to where it flows into Casco Bay. Not very fast moving water which allows it to freeze quickly. I skated up the river until it fizzled out in swampy cattails.

I'm using Nordic skates. They clip onto skate ski boots with regular XC bindings. Free heel and made for wild ice exploration.
