They dont make pitchers like him anymore.

As a teen I grew up a Yankees fan and Mel was a big part of that. A tremendous pitcher in his prime and known to be a class act. RIP Sir and thanks for the memories.

Me too.
And it was a time when pitchers were studs and threw complete games.
I will have to look up his games completed, but I bet it was high.
