So, unfortunately, it looks like my spot in the Farmers Daughter is up for sale.

ACL reconstruction surgery scheduled for May 8th

Message me if you're interested.

Thanks both for looking out! But as it happens I ended up booking a vacation and the best dates ended up being 5/10 - 5/20 so I will be doing my own Farmer's Daughter in the Julian Alps. Have fun!

1 week till farmers, who is still in?

Looks like there is 40% chance of rain which really means absolutely nothing. Well at least its not going to snow.

I'm in, but may only do half the ride. Fitness is abysmal, but I'd like to give the first half a go.

I’m in, and I’m aware of the bailout options but hope to not have to use them!

My wife and I will both be there. I think our fitness will be ok for the full 65 as long as we don't have a monsoon between now and then.

We may luck out with the weather.
We have been locked in a very chilly, wet pattern that looks to finally lift out the end of this week.
The next two days here will be upper 30s to low 40s with rain. No way I would do this ride in those conditions.
I think the weekend will be much better.

If you don’t have the juice to do the whole thing try to cut out one or two of the big dirt road climbs in the middle, then get back on course for the last couple of sections. Those are beautiful.

I’m in, but i’ll bail if the weather is bad. I don’t need to ride that course in mud and muck.

its not looking great, 50% chance now.

But we won't really know till Thursday or Friday. A little rain before is not too bad but yes I much rather it not be muddy but its not looking great. Bring the big threaded tires.
