Di2 rear DR shifting lag?

OK, I have the remote climber on a 6780 Di2 bike.

When I use the pod button the RD shifts crisp, clean and fast.

But the shift initiated via ST-6780 button lag, get chain noise and a late chain climb mostly on downshifts?

Being that the pod shift perfect, I do not question the RD setup.

Anyone else experience this?

Have you done any firmware updates?

Is this a recent issue, or have the remote climber buttons always behaved that way?

Are they the stand alone SW-R9150 buttons (or SW-R600), or the SW-R610 buttons that are supposed to plug into the brifters?

Climber are SW-610 and they go into 3rd port on shifter.

Did the remote always shift quickly and perfectly, yes.
Did the ST-6780 Shift correctly with the climber installed, yes.
It just started happening.

Firmware up to date, yes. I have a SM-PCE1, it is also updated.

Thanks!

I am just guessing at this point, so feel free to ignore my advice.

You can unplug the climbing shifters by just pulling the hoods back can't you?

I would unplug them and see if the brifters shift normally without them connected.

Yeah, I need to start eliminating pieces and see what changes or doesn't...

I can't tell on the stand, only on the road. Maybe time for a re-wrap and a ride sans tape before I put on the new tape.
