Glad you got the straight dope--now you know what you are dealing with.

Took whatever number of physio sessions that my plan paid for (probably over two weeks/every day or so--maybe 10 total?) to get it unlocked and moving fairly well and then another couple of weeks to get even more motion back. I was pretty much pain free after that for the past couple of years

You are reminding me though that I need to go in for a follow-up--I'm struggling with pain again, but have not locked up this time.

Ouch-shows you that an MRI is essential for diagnosis.

PT will be hard but you are harder.
