Love it! I'm not on Strava, so I can't see the ride...what kind of ride did he go on with that setup? Gravel? Singletrack?

Bikepacking when your job requires you to ride a race bike (though probably really just any Bianchi).

I think he and Thomas De Gendt rode back to Belgium last year after the Tour of Lombardy.

Cute. Not sure what makes this a "bikepacking" setup and not just a bike with a bag for snacks. Looks like he has enough of a setup to hold about a jacket, his cell phone, wallet, keys, and snacks. Add in an inaccessible bottle and you're good to go for that 100km loop around Antwerp.

I don't understand why he was taking the bike packing kit along. can't be the distance, he obviously used to ride well over that almost daily. looks like pretty standard road tires. but maybe much of it was on gravel roads and he needed backup tires/tubes/etc...?
either way, great to see him out there again |

Oh, no doubt. I didn't mean to disparage one of my favorite riders, I just think it's funny to call that a bikepacking setup. That's the bag setup (slim framebag and a small snack/grab bag) that I use for riding to/from lab every day so I don't have to carry sh*t in my pockets.
