I had the special red edition and a black ultra. I sold both in 2010. They were great bikes, back in the days of rock hard tires. Too bad they won't fit at least a 28.

I much prefer my newer disc frames that will handle 28-32mm tires at low pressure. The ride is so much better. All of my current frames have more trail and 415mm stays.

Does anyone have an Orange one...Tangerine I believe is the correct name for the color. I've never seen one in person as they seem to be fairly rare?

There used to be one that popped up regularly on eBay. Don’t know if it still does because I’ve stopped looking. I have three and as much as I like mine, I don’t really need another.

I have a tangerine medium that I picked up here. It’s not built up and I may list. Pm me if interested.

FWIW, I run tubeless 28s on my 585 ultra at pretty moderate PSI (60-80) and it feels prettttty great. - just took a few tries to find the right combination of things to make that work.

I also run 28s on my 585. Zonda wheels with Conti 5000 or Corsa G2 clinchers.

Yes, Tangerine. I looked for quite a while for a L one with no luck. When I had no cash prior, I saw a few sell on eBay. I finally stopped looking...

Second shot is mine built up with a 3T fork... (I run 25s on Zondas now)

Just did my first ride on an eTap-ed 585.

I will not go back to mechanical shifting ... at least not on the Look!

Got a photo?

...electronic shifting intrigues me but then with the 585 thoughts of purity and simplicity and staying within some semblance of a budget come to the fore.

I have a 585 hanging in the garage waiting for some love. Just haven’t gotten to it as other projects jumped the queue. This thread is inspiring me to move it up the list!

I would have liked to seen your kit, too.

BTW, you need Red eTap.
