@onekgguy I like your videos. I get to Minneapolis every once in a while to visit family but wouldn't have guessed there was so much good gravel in MN.

yes, i know 1-handing it just under 50mph going downhill is ridiculously dumb, but alas...for science!

Thank you, Mattre. There's some excellent gravel riding out this way. I'd been confined to the roads mostly until a little over a year ago when I bought a gravel bike. It's opened up so many more options for me, so much so that my road bike sees very little action anymore. The only real hazard that I've found is the occasional pup or two that like to give chase, but they're mostly friendlies as you can see in my video from yesterday. These two guys are now friends of mine! 🥂

Week 8 of Social Distance Cycling

We could not have asked for better weather for this morning's ride. Moderate temps and a light wind out of the east to help push us home. A little more than 59 miles (95 km) of (mostly) gravel bliss. See the video to understand why I say mostly.

The Trails at Murphy

I've had my fatty in the shop for service for the past month but I got it back this week. I've been enjoying the trails at Murphy-Hanrehan again. I probably never feel more alive than when I'm riding these trails.

Minnesota River Bottoms

I spent yesterday afternoon playing around on the trails along the Minnesota River in Bloomington. Between the change of seasons and the pedestrian trail construction, the area always seems to be in a state of flux.

River Bottoms Monday!

That road looks epic! I’ll be out in Chanhassen in a couple weeks visiting family. Care to share the route?

cmb5286 - There are so many beautiful routes that we ride out of Northfield. Here's a link to the route from the video. I'll typically add a Strava link to the route in the information section about the video.

Social Distance Riding...

...is it still a thing with the group you typically ride with? It is for us.

I been fooling around with some time-lapse videos of the sunrise and fog on my rides. These are all taken from the top of Mt Tamalpias.
