No Typhoons, always have my eyes peeled for one in Coppertone. I do have a Heavy Duti and my wife rides a 72 Breeze. One neat kind of rare one I have is this Specialized Shark Cruiser. Not too many of these on the road.

Lately it’s been Casio G-Shock watches. They’re not real expensive and there’s a seemingly endless variety.

Surfboards... I have about 6 of them. Oddly, when you're not surfing a whole lot the good surfboards are hard to use well and require upkeep (ding repairs, careful transport, perfect wax jobs that can melt in a hot car), so guess what... the Costco Wavestorm $100 foam board gets used the most.
It's like having a Super Record Speedvagen but using a beach cruiser most of the time. I need to get rid of these things but like extra bikes, I love owning them and looking at them. Sad! |

Wooden boats
I've apparently started collecting them in the last few years, I've two wooden kayaks, a cedar strip canoe, and a plywood dingy:

My wife did most of the valuable(ish?) collecting when she worked at a record store in the 90s. Most of it came to her and she put things she wanted off to the side. We're definitely collectors of music we like rather than around value or rarity. Nowadays I buy modern mostly from smaller band we like. |

Aside from 70-80’s steel bikes from California builders....knives, fishing tackle, bird books, antique decoys, and air cooled cars.

I suspect we may share a common predilection.

Then you definitely have a problem My friend's ex-wife had a closet full of Leicas that her dad had bought her. That marriage didn't work out. |

Yeah. Really dig the 914-6. Have not driven one of those since Autocross racing in Phoenix back in the very early 90s. Fun car.
