They do not come with center lockrings (neither of my two wheelsets from them with DT350 hubs came with lockrings).

The lockrings are usually included with the rotors when you buy them new....

This has never been my experience (SRAM, Shimano, Tektro/TRP, Avid, Hope).

I take that back. I may have received the cheap steel ones for QR hubs with some Shimano rotors, but did not use them.

Checking distributor sites, Shimano seems like the only major player to include lockrings. I take back that they usually come with the rotor.

IME most hubs bought individually do not come with lockrings, but I do believe DT does. At least the wheelsets come with the 6 bolt adapter and the lockring for that, but I'm not positive whether or not that lockring works exactly the same with a centerlock rotor, and I'm not positive whether all DT hubs currently come with them.

Shimano always comes with a lockring though.

Yeah, that lockring is interchangeable with Shimano's SM-HB20 lockring.

Just wanted to document my own experience here.

On 12/30/20 I finalized an order for a 28/28 WGX40 premium wheelset with DT350 center lock, straight pull hubs, laced with Pillar X-TRA 1420 spokes. A week or two prior I had used the chat feature to ask if it was possible to spec a 24/28 wheelset and was promptly told that previously that was allowed, but no longer because their arrangement with DT necessitated their purchases to be of matched pairs (drillings).

On 1/17/21 I was sent an email requesting I confirm my order. It was correct and in my reply I noted that the $60 coupon code that was in effect at the time of my purchase did not seem to be applied to my order, likely through an error on my end.

On 1/18/21 I received an automated email that my wheelset had shipped via EMS (a cost of only $71) with a declared value of $140.

On 1/20/21 I received an email from Amy at BTLOS confirming that I had not input the coupon code at time of purchase and would it be fine to just refund to my PayPal account.

Obviously I have not received the wheelset yet, but customer service has been excellent.

After just a handful of rides on my new BTLOS wheelset, I'm giving them a solid "thumbs up." They spin up nicely and maintain speed well, too. The new wheels are 650gms lighter than the stock wheels on my Diverge. The bike is noticeably quicker with the new wheelset. I've had them set up tubeless, (thanks Fairwheel Bikes,) and the ride is comfy.

Anyone have issues receiving their rims via EMS?

I was hoping to have a set built for this season, considering ordering another pair via FedEx (has anyone done this and gotten hammered w/ duties?)....

Mine shipped from BTLOS as jewelry something or other with a $200.00 value.

I had oldpotatoe lace a set of their RC-30 Extralight rims to some Carbon-Ti SP X-Hubs and they are crazy-light. The wheels arrived to me taped, but I weighed in at 1211g for the set.

The initial ride was down Montebello (Cupertino) and I made the mistake of using Enve pads... they screamed. Replaced the Enve pads with Zipp Platinum Pros and all is good.

Mine where marked "bike wheels" with a value of $200. No customs duties were incurred. It seems they spent little time in customs as they arrived very quickly.

For the rims I have ordered, I have used FedEx, so don't know about EMS. Invoice says something like $100 or something..no duties paid.
