Yeah Nate/Danny is my morning. I like what Jade is trying out with The Basketball Friends.
I like anything with Coach Thorpe & Pelton particularly (in terms of bball content...I enjoy others for stupidity and other things...)
Nice Kicks is fun being back!

Rob Mahoney had some good ones with SI last season, the Breakaway Pods.
Also I want Paul Flannery back on podcasts!

I forgot to mention him in writers...he's awesome. The Sunday Shootaround was a routine for me last season.

uhh...why you blaming Lavar for?
Don't think he's in China dressed up in a LiAngelo disguise...

Lots of great dads have ****ty kids. Lots of ****ty dads have great kids. Most are somewhere in between. All of us make mistakes.

LaVar seems, at least on his public face, kinda brash. He also seems to support his kids to an irrational level. I'm not sure how we draw the line from there to "of course his kid is a shoplifter"

And also shoplifting is dumb and all, but I did it as a kid.
And I'm sure a bunch of people here did it too.

They're super dumb for doing it in another country.

Hope they don't get in too much trouble and it ain't made into a huge thing (but I'm guessing it will be).

LaVar is insufferable as an endless advocate for his sons, and his kid did a dumb thing, but I don't see how the two are related.

God, if anything, I would love to see LaMelo be the one to finally melt down the NCAA cartel.

I think the whole thing is already way worn out, way over-played, and yet there are still two to go , and obviously plenty of subscribers....LaMelo is/will be a complete clown-show.

If any UCLA brother was ever going to bring the NCAA cartel (completely with you on that) I would have far preferred an O'Bannon do it rather than a BBB....

Thank heaven Wooden isn't around to see all this bs.

Yeah, he'd get implicated in paying players just like every other successful college basketball coach ever.

The Ball kids have never struck me as particularly entitled in their public persona. Lonzo is practically comatose in most interviews. No need to be a braggart when you've got your own hype man.

I'm not here for a fight so I'm gonna let this go.

I will say I hope Lonzo ends up awesome, that BBB is successful as a brand, and the LiAngelo and LaMelo get whatever they want from life.

Meanwhile the 1st, 2nd & Moose for Bledsoe seems all done.

Does this make Milwaukee 2nd best in the east? 3rd, 1st? Nope?

I'm just excited a team looks at the Cavs so far this year, the crippled Celts, and the paper tiger Wizards and goes "Yanno what, we can go get this thing."

How he shares the ball with Giannis is a problem for another day. And whether his sulking in Phoenix was a function of, yanno, Phoenix, or just his general locker room persona, remains to be seen.

Yeah that was the fun thing about the west in the offseason, OKC, Rockets going for it even with GSW seeming invincible.

The Cs, Bucks...maybe the Wizards can make a move for something too. The Cavs seem verrrry shaky. I don't trust them to figure this out, Lebron is still the best but he can only do so much.

Good players often look better next to other good players. I like the Bledsoe fit, just because they get longer on the perimeter, don't have to play Delly, and have a legit 5 guys that can switch 1-4 for high-leverage minutes. Hope they all stay healthy.

ETA:. I bet the Bledsoe/Parker PNR becomes a real thing to generate 2nd unit offense when Giannis is resting.

They're gonna miss Monroe. He was the only player they had that approximated a post defender.

This is true, but I'm guessing based on their current salary situation that they aren't done moving pieces around this year. Dellavedova is almost certainly on the way out, maybe they can get something better than "John Henson being tall and skinny" in return.
