John told me he switched to a black background from white on his head badges after his wife died. Never saw any clear head badges in his shop, but that would have been cool.

We chatted one time on the Old Ox Road section- I was on a Merckx Faema, you commented on the red ano wheelset.

Have a number of bikes in rotation, but am pretty much the only guy on that route who rides with downtube shifters. I’m a waver, too.

And to add to the thread, my OTHER Hollands. This is the last road frame he built (unless someone else talked him out of retirement). Stainless, coupled. About to put 12speed on her.

I believe you bought the red one from me. It's my biggest bike sale regret of all time. I hope you get it back, I'd hate to see it leave both of us longing!

I did. Dont worry its close and like i said i have rights. Wouldn't have sold if didn't have another. We have plans for a Hollands ride later this summer.
